Day Two: 100 Day Goal Challenge

September 3, 2017

here's Day Two

1.    To eat slower

2.   To drink 2 litres of water

3.   To eat a new healthier breakfast

Well the day started really well with a healthy breakfast of Linseed bread, avocado and smoked salmon. Then off to try my troll heads on the kids at dancing and on to watch to showings of Legally Blonde, my daughters drama production. Then a familiar pattern fell into place. Time became really tight so I grabbed a quick wrap for the journey. In itself this was a good choice but eating it alone on the run left me half satisfied so by the time the show finished and we went for Dinner I was starving. (Starving = Poor choices and more food than you need)

My food choices became about the need to feel full and not the need to lose weight and so whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the meal it didnt really help my goal.

I don't want to spend all my time thinking about the negatives but Legally Blonde was a stark reminder of the simple things that become difficult when you are overweight. Wearing long boots, they wont go around my calves.  Wearing a pink tracksuit, unless you want to look like a blamange. Skipping endlessly for 10 mins and not being able to wear a bunny suit, something i am highly unlikely to do but it would be nice to have the choice.

I believe that gaining understanding is going to be an important part of my success but i am only really going to succeed if the learning results in a helpful change in habits. So lets hope tommorow brings some positive action.

I’m Jenny an optimistic and motivational Life Coach, NLP practitioner & Professional Dieter.

Being a Yo Yo dieter is no fun and I should know. It’s exactly what I did for 25years. Each day berating myself for over indulging and promising myself faithfully that tomorrow would be different, of course it rarely was.

I spent years as a professional dieter, I learnt how to eat too much, to eat in secret then punish myself for not having had more discipline.

I learnt to live off shakes or cabbage soup, I ate cups of green beans and endless pills and bars. I wasted many years of my life applauding myself for having lost 2lbs. The same 2lbs I had lost and gained many times before.

I specialise in helping women to participate fully in their lives regardless of their weight, shape or size. With my help you too could be so much more than your diet.
