What an absolutely dreadful day. Starting the day full of worries is not very productive. Self doubt, self criticism and a very overactive imagination can completely flaw a plan. What started as a simple worry turned over 3 hrs into a life changing trauma and although I cant go into the details here I can say it was no more of a problem than that which everyone goes through from time to time.
The real problem is the way I reacted to the problem. I spent 2/3rds of the day in front of the telly thinking about all the things I should be doing and doing none of them. I ate my way through a mutlitude of not so bad for me snacks whilst trying to avoid the cake that I would rather have been eating. (Emotional eating)
I realise there has been a pattern happening over the past few days with the focus turning towards the negatives. So the theme for this week is focus on the positive.
