Day Thirty Six: 100 day challenge

October 6, 2017

Back from the wilderness!

Well its been a 24 days since my last entry, I think my microactions may have gone a little astray but the end goal of getting of the diet treadmill and creating a healthier lifestyle for myself is getting ever closer. A couple of weeks ago I found myself struck down with a pain in my side that is possibly inflammation in my gall bladder. Eating lots of fruit and veg appeared to make the pain worse so I found myself eating a very high carbohydrate, bland diet which created a whole different range of stomach problems.

However I realised that I can never change my relationship with food and reach a healthy happy weight and lifestyle without fruit and veg. for many years I have followed a range of diets, followed many peoples diet guidelines and took part in many wacky plans. I always managed to lose weight but didn't end particularly healthy.

I decided if this time is to be different the changes I make to my lifestyle and diet must be changes based in fact, that can be permanent and that leave me feeling very healthy, energetic, vibrant and happy. So following lots of enquiries I have been introduced to a lovely nutritionist called Rebecca Cotterell from hello healing. Together we have created the start of a healthy wellbeing plan for me to follow. I have organised a range of tests, saliva, stool and blood that will start to highlight any deficiencies or digestive problems I may be experiencing.

The basic plan is to eat only that which I can explain where it comes from. over the next 24hrs i am going to reflect on some new micro actions to help keep me focused on the direction I want to go in. and to get my goal challenge back on track.

I’m Jenny an optimistic and motivational Life Coach, NLP practitioner & Professional Dieter.

Being a Yo Yo dieter is no fun and I should know. It’s exactly what I did for 25years. Each day berating myself for over indulging and promising myself faithfully that tomorrow would be different, of course it rarely was.

I spent years as a professional dieter, I learnt how to eat too much, to eat in secret then punish myself for not having had more discipline.

I learnt to live off shakes or cabbage soup, I ate cups of green beans and endless pills and bars. I wasted many years of my life applauding myself for having lost 2lbs. The same 2lbs I had lost and gained many times before.

I specialise in helping women to participate fully in their lives regardless of their weight, shape or size. With my help you too could be so much more than your diet.
